HEALTH: Figuring out when to eat, exercise, sleep

In traditional Chinese Acupuncture, certain times of day are high energy for things like eating and digesting food ~ which might help you decide when to eat and when not to. Interestingly enough, seven months after posting the list below, I came across "Lose Weight Around the Clock" with scientific studies on the benefits of exercising and eating at certain times of day over other times!

HIGH ENERGY TIMES FOR THE 12 MERIDIANS
  • Heart Meridian 11am-1pm
  • Small Intestine Meridian 1pm-3pm Good time to eat
  • Bladder Meridian 3pm-5pm
  • Kidney Meridian 5pm-7pm Good time to eat liquids? support kidneys, Water Element
  • Heart Protector Meridian 7pm-9pm
  • Triple Heater Meridian 9pm-11pm
  • Gall Bladder Meridian 11pm-1am
  • Liver Meridian 1am-3am
  • Lung Meridian 3am-5am Good time for meditation (breathing in spirit)
  • Large Intestine Meridian 5am-7am Good time to poop!
  • Stomach Meridian 7am-9am Good time to eat
  • Spleen Meridian 9am-11am
LOW ENERGY TIME FOR EACH MERIDIAN is the opposite time of day: If the high energy time is 1-3am, the low energy time is 1-3pm, etc. While 3-5am is the high energy time for the Lung Meridian (the 'time of elixir' for meditators), its opposite time, 3-5pm, is apparently an excellent time for breathing and physical exercise!

TIME OF DAY IS ACTUAL SUN TIME, not adjusted daylight saving time.
